Discipleship
Discipleship is the process of becoming a true follower of Jesus Christ, guided and taught directly by the Holy Spirit.
To begin discipleship, having a disciple maker is essential. The role of a disciple maker is to guide you and help you discern what God is communicating to you at each moment. Think of the relationship between Paul and Timothy: the disciple maker doesn't necessarily have to be someone biologically older than you but rather someone with a deeper understanding of God's voice and experience in Holy Ghost School. Being discipled is crucial because it fosters your growth and helps you become the person God intends for you to be. A disciple maker is someone whom God entrusts with your spiritual development, helping you navigate your spiritual journey. This person will be accountable to God on your behalf, so it's important to trust God's choice in appointing a disciple maker for you.
A disciple maker will provide the wisdom, experience, and accountability necessary for your spiritual growth. Trust in God's decision for your life regarding your disciple maker, as this guidance is instrumental in your journey toward fulfilling God's purpose for you. This transformation is what God desires for each of us, especially in these end-times. True disciples are those who have fully surrendered their lives to Jesus and are committed to obeying Him in all things.
At its core, discipleship involves completely submitting your life to God and living according to His will. It requires daily reliance on His guidance, allowing Him to shape and transform you into the likeness of Christ. Through this ongoing process, you are progressively molded into the image of Jesus Christ. The primary purpose of discipleship is for God to conform you to the character and nature of His beloved Son.
Discipleship differs from merely seeking miracles and blessings. True disciples pursue a deeper relationship with the Lord, aiming to know Him intimately and to please Him in all aspects of life. Consequently, God bestows upon them greater grace and authority to walk faithfully with Him. One form of discipleship training is through Holy Ghost School. Where the Holy Spirit begins to teach and lead someone directly. That person becomes a true disciple of the Lord Jesus. Holy Ghost School is not a physical institution where one registers; rather, it is a spiritual school located in the presence of God, without a physical location.
Holy Ghost School is simple because all you have to do is rest in God’s presence while He goes about repairing and beautifying your life. It means learning directly from God Himself. When you separate yourself to God and allow Him to teach and lead you, you are in Holy Ghost School (Romans 8:14). It can take place anywhere, even in your home. Whenever you separate yourself to God to be taught and led by Him, you are in Holy Ghost School. Whenever you are in the presence of your Heavenly Father to hear His voice and receive directions, you are in Holy Ghost School. To join the school, simply set aside time in your house and ask the Holy Spirit to teach you Himself. This is known as covenant time. Covenant time is a period you set apart for God each day. During this time, you should be in His presence to be taught, cleansed, and beautified by Him. It is not a time for prayer or asking for things; rather, it is a time for studying and listening to God. This covenant time should be the same each day, as it is an appointment with God that you have agreed upon.
